On 3/24/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Sara Hensley (22 years old, 4105 Sullivan Gardens Dr. Kingsport, TN) and charged her with Aggravated Burglary, Vandalism (under $1000), and Theft of Property (under $1000).
At approximately 6:45 p.m. on 3/23/2019, officers responded to 1006 Milligan Hwy. Apt B, and spoke with the victim, who reported a burglary to his residence. He reported that a firearm had been stolen from a gun safe and some of his personal belonging had been vandalized. After a brief investigation a suspect was identified as Sara Hensley. She was later located in Sullivan county, where she was arrested, and the firearm was recovered.
Ms. Hensley was arrested for Aggravated Burglary, Vandalism (under $1000.) and Theft of Property (under $1000.) She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center and held under a $5,000 bond. The arraignment hearing is set for Monday, March 25, 2019 at 1:30 A.M in Washington County General Sessions Court.
