On 12-19-2018, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Cody Street, 27 years of age, and charged him with Altering, Falsifying or Forging evidence of Title, Registration or Plates.
This arrest stems from an investigation of a theft from a motor vehicle at 293 S. Austin Springs Road in Johnson City. The victim had the year sticker stolen from the license plate of his vehicle. The year sticker was found taped to the license plate on Street’s vehicle in the parking lot. Street was located in the apartment complex, arrested and charged with Altering, Falsifying or Forging a license plate. Street is being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $1,000 bond. He is due to appear for his arraignment at 1:30 p.m. on 12/20/2018, in Washington County General Sessions Court
