On Friday 12/15/18, at approx. 12:00 pm, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Miranda J. Johnson (1413 Valley View Rd. Johnson City, 28 years old) and charged her with driving on suspended license, leaving the scene of a crash and felony evading arrest.
On 12/15/18, Johnson backed into a parked vehicle and fled the crash location. Officers quickly located her driving a vehicle and she fled at a high rate of speed to avoid being stopped. Johnson was located at her residence a short time later and taken into custody.
Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $12,000 bond. Arraignment is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on 12/17/18, in Washington County General Sessions Court.
