     On 12/04/2018 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Christopher T. Crum (36 years old, 1716 Orlando Dr., Johnson City, TN 37601) on the charges of Simple Domestic Assault, 3 counts of Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

Officers responded to a 1716 Orlando Dr. in reference to an anonymous complaint that Christopher Crum, who had an active warrant, had returned to his residence. Officers located Mr. Crum in the back bedroom hiding in a closet. After verbal commands, Mr. Crum pulled a knife out of his pocket and lunged towards officers swinging the knife. Mr. Crum was taken into custody with the use of the Taser. A search of Mr. Crum revealed 0.67 grams of methamphetamine and a syringe.

Mr. Crum was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $76,000 bond. His arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court has not yet been set.
