On 11/16/2018, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Matthew McQueen (621 E Pine St, Johnson City, TN 24 years old) and charged him with False Reporting and Public Intoxication.
At approximately 02:54 a.m., Officers observed suspect Matthew McQueen pull a fire alarm at Monarch Apartment Complex when no threat of a fire present. The fire department responded to secure the building and confirmed there was no fire on the premise. While speaking with the suspect there was an overwhelming smell of alcohol coming from his breath as he spoke. Officers then arrested Matthew McQueen. He was then transported to the Washington County Detention Center for the listed charges.
He is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Mr. McQueen is due to appear in court for his arraignment at 1:30 p.m. on 11/16/2018 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
