On Sept 13, 2018, the Johnson City Police Department responded to an armed robbery that occurred at Select Seven Credit Union located at 333 E Main St. At approximately 3:00 pm, a white male walked into the business, brandished a firearm and demanded money from the bank teller. The suspect is described as being between 40 and 45 years of age. He was wearing a baggy royal blue button up shirt, black gloves, blue jeans, boots, a blue baseball cap, and sunglasses. Nobody was injured in the incident and the suspect fled on foot towards Colonial Way.
