On 11/07/13, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Bobby Gene Morgan (1845 Old Ashville Hwy., Greeneville, TN, 33 years old) and charged him with theft over $500.00 and trespassing.
On 10/11/13, officers responded to 3111 Browns Mill Rd., Walmart, on a shoplifting. During the investigation it was determined that Morgan selected 2 televisions totaling more than $500.00 and passed the point of sale without making payment. Morgan fled from the scene but his identity was known by Loss Prevention employees as being banned from Walmart for committing previous thefts.
On 11/07/13, Investigators located Bobby Gene Morgan and placed him under arrest and transported him to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 11/07/13 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
