On 3/21/2018 at 11:00 p.m. Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jancyn A. Rash(19 years old, 4161 Old Jonesborough Rd. Jonesborough, TN), Joshua M. Carver (21 years old, 1591 Muddy Creek Rd. Blountville, TN) and Jerry L. Ashby (38 years old, 265 Felty Private Dr. Bristol, TN) and charged them with Theft of Property Over $1000.
Officers were dispatched to Johnson City Medical Center on a theft of a motor vehicle. The victim told officers her car was stolen from the parking lot of the hospital. The victim named the defendants that she gave a ride to the hospital just prior to finding her vehicle missing. At 11:00 p.m., officers found the victim’s vehicle, a black 2003 Kia Optima, located at 1702 W. Market St. It was occupied by Jancyn Rash, Joshua Carver and Jerry Ashby. The defendants were arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where they are being held on a $5,000.00 bond each. An arraignment is set for 3/22/2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
