On 3/7/18, the Johnson City Police Department arrested David M Vaughn (123 W Millard St, Johnson City, TN, 44 years old) and charged him with auto burglary, theft of property under $1,000, and fraudulent use of a credit card under $1,000.
On 2/23/18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a report of an auto burglary at 141 E Market St in Johnson City, TN. The victim reported that his wallet was stolen from his vehicle. A few hours later, the victim called back and said that his stolen debit card had been used at several locations in Johnson City. David M Vaughn was identified as the person who was using the victims debit card soon after the auto burglary.
David M Vaughn was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $7,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 3/9/18 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
