On 02/01/18, at 3:00 p.m., officers of Johnson City Police Department arrested James Christopher Perdue, 37, 802 Buffalo St. Apt. 14, Johnson City, TN, 37601 and charged him with Burglary.
The arrest stems from an investigation of vandalism inside the building of 802 Buffalo St. The inside of the building had several office doors kicked open, several items thrown around the building, and a fire extinguisher was taken from the wall and used to smash the door knob to a door leading outside a business. Mr. Perdue was discovered sleeping inside one of the offices with a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person.
Mr. Perdue was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $10,000 bond. An arraignment is set for 02/02/18, in Washington County General Sessions Court.
