On 1/31/18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Danny Slayton (33 years old, of Johnson City), and charged him with one count of selling cocaine, a Schedule II drug.
The arrest stems from an investigation that was started after receiving complaints of suspicious activity at Slayton’s residence. During the investigation, Mr. Slayton sold approximately an eighth of an ounce of cocaine to an individual working on law enforcement’s behalf.
Slayton was served with the warrant while incarcerated in the Washington County Detention Center on unrelated charges. The additional bond for the new charge is $10,000. He will be arraigned in Washington County General Sessions Court at a later date.
