On 12/7/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested John Miller, AKA “Irish” (37 years old, 302 Princeton Road). Miller was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of selling methamphetamine and violation of the drug free school-zone law. The arrest warrant was the result of an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine that occurred over the summer of this year.

 

While serving the arrest warrant, Miller was found to be in possession of additional drugs and a firearm. Subsequently, Miller was charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, simple possession of heroin, simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.

 

Miller was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held in lieu of a combined $42,000 bond. He is scheduled for arraignment on 12/8/17 at 9:00 A.M. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
