On 09/10/13 Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Montavius Gholston, 1210 Glyridge Ave., Johnson City TN, for Possession of Sch I for Resale, Possession of Sch II for Resale, Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substance, Possessing a Firearm during Commission of a Dangerous Felony. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop in which 17 grams of crack cocaine was seized that is believed to belong to Gholston. After further investigation officers located an additional 98 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of MDMA, a firearm, and a total of $3,322.00 in cash. Gholston is currently being held in the WCDC in lieu of a $41,000.00 bond. After consulting the US Attorney Office a Federal Detainer was placed on Gholston.
