On 07/19/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Mariah F. Woodfin, 24 years old, 730 Rock Creek Rd, Erwin, TN, and charged her with false reporting and possession of methamphetamine.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2915 W. Market St. in reference to shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers stopped a green Honda Accord leaving the parking lot that was allegedly involved in the theft. During the investigation, Mariah Woodfin initially provided another family member’s name and date-of-birth to officers. Once her real identity was discovered, she was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed Ms. Woodfin to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Ms. Woodfin was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $6,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 07/19/17, 1:30 p.m., in Washington County General Sessions Court.
