On 07/16/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kenneth B. Miller (37 yrs old, 604 Pardee St.) and charged him with Aggravated Assault (Domestic), Reckless Endangerment, and being Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The arrest stems from a domestic disturbance call at 604 Pardee St. at about 4 am. Neighbors called in several shots fired at the residence. Patrol units responded and found Mr. Miller outside. His girlfriend was found inside the residence. She was hiding in a closet, crying. The investigation revealed that Mr. Miller fired at least 13 rounds from a 9mm handgun inside the residence and several more outside. A .22 caliber rifle, a pistol holster, and a bag containing ammunition were recovered from inside the house. The girlfriend advised she was awakened by Mr. Miller pulling her hair and an argument ensued. Mr. Miller is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $70,000 bond. He is scheduled for Arraignment in General Sessions Court on 07/17/17 at 1:30 pm.
