On 6/21/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested John Whistine (1909 Cherokee Rd, Apt 10., 43 years old) and charged him with Aggravated Assault, and Reckless Endangerment.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation in reference to a call of shots fired that was reported at approximately 4:00am at 1909 Cherokee Rd. Through the course of the investigation, Whistine was identified as the suspect in the shooting.
On 6/21/17, John Whistine was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $60,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 6/22/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
