On 06/10/2017 at 5:00 pm officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Amanda Holder, 34 years old, 2606 McKinley Rd, Johnson City Tn. and charged her with 1 count of Aggravated Assault. The arrest stems from an investigation at 2606 McKinley Rd. in regards to a domestic disturbance. The victim reported to officers that he and Ms Holder were involved in an argument, when Ms Holder picked up a claw hammer, and struck him twice. The victim declined any medical treatment at the scene.
Ms. Holder was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is currently being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond. An arraignment for Ms Holder is scheduled for 06/12/2017 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
