The Johnson City Police Department is currently investigating several auto burglaries that occurred in the area of N Roan St near the mall that occurred on the evening and night of June 4th, 2017. Officers with the Johnson City Police Department have placed charges on a juvenile and have other suspects on three of the reported auto burglaries. These auto burglaries occurred at 50Fifty, Bonefish Grill, and Texas Roadhouse. During the course of the investigation, officers recovered several pieces of property that are believed to be stolen from other auto burglaries that have not been reported yet. Investigators believe there were several other auto burglaries that occurred in the same area and within the same time frame. The Department is asking for anyone that may have been a victim of an auto burglary to come forward and report those to the Johnson City Police Department. If any of your property that was taken can be identified, that we have in our evidence, we would like to return those items to the rightful owners. This would assist investigators in determining if more charges are to be placed on the suspects. You can make a police report by calling 911 or by coming to the Johnson City Police Department and filing the report with an officer and investigators will follow up with your case and determine if your property may already be recovered.
