On 5/30/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Christopher James Vanhorn (32, 11513 Rose St., Lamont, CA) on one count of aggravated assault and one count of simple assault – intimidation.
On 5/24/17, officers responded to reports of an altercation outside John Sevier Center, 141 E Market St. Officers determined that the victim had been threatened with a knife following a verbal dispute and the subsequent investigation led to Vanhorn being charged with the offense.
0n 5/30/17, Vanhorn was served with the arrest warrant on these charges after having been previously booked into Washington County Detention Center on unrelated warrants. He is being held in lieu of $51,000 bond and will be arraigned on 08/30/2017 at 1:30 pm in Washington County General Sessions Court.
