On 5/19/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brian Harris, AKA “Scooby”, (40 years old, of Johnson City) and charged him with two counts of selling crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are kept or sold.
The arrest stems from an investigation in which Harris sold crack cocaine to an individual working on law enforcement’s behalf. Investigators subsequently executed a search warrant at Harris’ residence.
Harris was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held in lieu of a $41,000 bond. He is scheduled for arraignment on 5/22/17 at 9:00 AM in Washington County General Sessions Court.
