On the 03/28/17 at 11:17am officers of the Johnson City Police Dept. arrested Robert Jones, 72, 885 W. Main St. Apt# 102, Johnson City, Tn. and charged him with being a Fugitive From Justice. The arrest stems from an investigation involving several trespassers at 855 W. Main St. At the scene officers spoke with Mr. Jones and discovered the he was wanted by the Clark County Nevada Sheriff’s Dept. The Clark County Court had issued a Bench Warrant for Fraud for Mr. Jones with extradition back to Nevada to answer the charge. Mr. Jones was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held under without a bond pending an arraignment in the Washington County Sessions Court on the 03/28/17 at 9:00am.
