On 03/13/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Anthony Warneke (1317 N Barton St Johnson City,
31 years old) and charged him with aggravated assault.
At approximately 05:00 p.m. on 03/13/17, officers met with the victim who advised that Mr. Warneke had threatened him with a gun
at 1317 N Barton St. The victim had gotten into an altercation with Warneke at the home, and when he ran out of the house to leave
he saw Warneke pointing a gun at him through the blinds of the front window of the house. Warneke was located inside of the home
by officers, and told them that the gun he had pointed at the victim was a CO2 pistol and not a real firearm. The air pistol was located
in the laundry room disassembled and unloaded.
Anthony Warneke was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held
in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30p.m. on 03/14/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
