On 1/24/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Anthony S Stout (1746 Rocky Hollow Rd, Jonesborough, TN, 25 years old) and he was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Criminal Trespassing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a controlled substance without a Prescription. Officers responded to Tyler Apartments on a 911 call of a subject slumped in the seat of his vehicle. Officers made contact and identified the subject as Mr. Stout. A records check revealed a warrant from an unrelated incident for his arrest. He was taken into custody at that time. A search of the vehicle revealed the contraband and a .22 caliber handgun. A further check of Mr. Stout’s criminal history revealed he was previously convicted of a felony theft offense. Mr. Stout is being held at the Washington County Detention Center. He has a $13,000 bail for these charges, with an arraignment set for Wednesday January 25, 2017, at 1:30 PM, in Washington County General Sessions Court.
