On 1/1/17, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Christopher Street (3508 McKinley Rd, Johnson City, TN, 25 years old) and charged him with Auto Burglary.
At approximately 19:40 hours, Officers of The Johnson City Police Department were dispatched to 2001 Elmwood St in reference to an Auto Burglary. Upon arrival, Officers took the initial report where an unknown suspect took money and electronics from the complainant’s vehicle. During the investigation, officers received a tip and with the help of other Officers were able to locate the suspect, Christopher Street, on the 2500 block of Clover St. He was then placed under arrest and transported to The Washington County Detention Center.
He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond. Mr. Street is due to appear in court for his arraignment at 1:30 p.m. on 1/2/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
