On 8/6/13, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Spencer Xavier Forney (Johnson City, 21 years old) charging him with aggravated burglary and assault.
On 6/14/13, the victim reported he received a visit from an acquaintance at approximately 2:40 a.m. and moments later there was another knock at his door. When he opened the door, the defendant along with two other unknown male accomplices forced their way in his home and began to assault him. The victim was assaulted for several minutes before the three males ran on foot. The victim recognized one of suspects as the defendant, Spencer Xavier Forney.
On 8/6/13, Forney was located by officers and arrested on these and other unrelated charges. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $21,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 9:00 a.m. on 8/7/13 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
