On October 28, 2016 at approx. 1:15 a.m. officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Mr. Alan C Lane of 506 Orchard Dr. Johnson City Tn. Mr. Lane was asked several times to leave a residence on Indian Ridge Rd. Instead of leaving Mr. Lane retaliated by ramming his vehicle into an out building at the residence and destroying it. Officers found Mr. Lane locked in a bedroom at the residence and refusing to come out. As officers were attempting to take Mr. Lane into custody he began assaulting the officers. After Mr. Lane was brought under control, a substance identified as Methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia was found in his possession. As a result he was placed under arrest on charges of Aggravated Criminal Trespassing, Felony Vandalism, 3cts Simple Assault on officers, Poss. Methamphetamine, Poss. Drug paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $21,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in the Washington County Session Court on 10/28/2016, at 9:00 a.m.
