SUBJECT: Felony Weapon Arrest DATE: 10/28/16 TIME: 12:00 a.m.

On 10/27/16, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested David A. Salyer (626 Dover St, Mount Carmel ,Tn., 30 years old) and he was charged with being a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun. At approximately 8:30 p.m. on 10/27/16, officers of the Johnson City police department were conducting a warrant service at 1201 Division St, Apt. 3, in reference to David Salyer having active warrants out of Georgia. Officers located Mr. Salyer asleep in a back bedroom of the apartment. Once officers took Salyer into custody, they located a loaded 9mm pistol under a pillow where Salyer’s head was laying. Police arrested Mr. Salyer, and he was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $10,000 bond . Arraignment is set for today, 10/28/16, at 10:30 a.m., in Washington County General Sessions Court.
