On 08/10/16, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Deric L. Beatty (56 yrs old, 420 Lamont St #1) and charged him with two counts of Burglary and one count each of Theft over $1,000 and Theft under $500. The arrests stem from two different burglary reports from Rite Quik Market, 603 W Market St. The investigation revealed that Mr. Beatty broke into the Rite Quik on 03/12/16 and 08/07/16 and stole cigarettes on both occasions. Mr. Beatty is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a combined bond of $31,000. He is scheduled for Arraignment in General Sessions Court on 08/11/16 at 1:30 pm.
