On 08/08/2016, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested James A Riddick (507 Robinson Dr, Johnson City, TN, 36 years old) and charged him with Felony Vandalism over $500 and Public Intoxication.
At approximately 2:42 a.m., officers responded to Numan's Cafe & Sports Bar, 225 E. Main St, in reference to Riddick throwing a table through one of the businesses’ windows.
The investigation revealed that Riddick became angry after he was asked to leave by business employees after they observed him violating the businesses code of conduct. As he was leaving Riddick pushed a table through one of the businesses’’ front windows. Riddick then ran from the business and was followed by some of the employees. The employees were able to catch Riddick and detained him until police arrived.
Riddick was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 08/08/2016 at 1:30 p. m. in Washington County General Session Court.
