On 4/28/16, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Philip Joseph Wrona (Johnson City, 64 years old) and charged him with two counts of criminal simulation over $1,000 and two counts of theft of property over $1,000.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that was filed by the victim who stated that two of her checks had been stolen, then passed in Johnson City, totaling $7,400.
Wrona is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $40,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 4/29/16 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
