On 3/4/2016, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jason A Knight, a 44 year old male, of 425 McCarty Hollow Rd Telford, TN. The arrest was a result of an investigation at 195 Freckles Ct (Department of Corrections). Officers were dispatched to the business in attempt to locate Knight, who had an active violation of probation, issued out of Wise County, VA, for the original conviction of possession with intent to distribute marijuana . During the investigation, Officer located Knight at the business and confirmed the violation of probation was active and that Wise County Sherriff’s Office would extradite Knight for the violation. At this time, Knight was taken into custody and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Knight was transported to the Washington County Detention Center and held pending a bond hearing. Knight has a preliminary court date set for 3/7/2016 at 1:30 in Washington County Sessions Court.
