On Sunday, November 08, 2015 at approximately 5:31am, Chad Honnah, 36, last known address of 1455 Silver City Rd, Morristown, TN, was served with a warrant at the Washington County Detention Center. Honnah was charged with felony evading arrest, felony reckless endangerment, reckless driving and driving on revoked license 3rd offense. The charges are the result of a BOLO which had been issued by the Washington Co 911 Center in regards to a white Ford truck involved in a robbery in Jonesborough, TN. The 911 center advised that the truck was possibly traveling in the vicinity of N Roan St.
Shortly after the BOLO, the white Ford truck was observed traveling at a high rate of speed by Johnson City Police in the area of N Roan St and Princeton Rd. A traffic stop was attempted on the vehicle but the driver failed to stop. The driver continued to flee to avoid apprehension. A brief pursuit followed and the vehicle eventually traveled into Washington County, TN, at which time Johnson City Police discontinued pursuit of the vehicle. Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies continued to pursue the fleeing vehicle and Honnah was eventually placed in custody by deputies. A warrant was obtained on Honnah on the aforesaid charges and served on him at the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on November 9, 2015 at 1:30pm.
