On Thursday, 10-15-15, The Johnson City Police Department arrested Ryan Fleenor (1214 E. Lakeview Dr., Johnson City TN., 28 years old, and Jason Strode 1214 E. Lakeview Dr., Johnson City, TN., 29 years old), charging each with one count of Aggravated Assault (Domestic).
Officers responded to 1214 E. Lakeview Dr. in reference to a 911 call in which a female advised that someone had been stabbed. Upon arrival officers located Jason Strode, Ryan Fleenor, and another female in the residence.
The occupants initially denied that any assault had occurred. Investigation revealed that both Strode and Fleenor had suffered non-life threatening stab/puncture wounds. Strode had, what appeared to be, once puncture wound to the center of his chest and an abrasion
on and above the left eye. Fleenor's injuries consisted of five puncture wounds to the lower back. Both provided inconsistent statements regarding the nature of the altercation and who had initiated the altercation and both claimed to
be acting in self-defense of the other's assaultive action(s). Witness statements were also inconsistent. Both Fleenor and Strode were determined to be primary aggressors in the domestic related assault. Both are being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond at the Washington County Detention Center and are
scheduled for Arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court tomorrow, 10-16-15 at 1:30 p.m.
