On 10/09/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Alyssa M Carter (243 Rockingham Meadows Dr, Johnson City, TN, 26 years old) and charged her with Aggravated Domestic Assault.
At approximately 5:35 p.m., officers responded to 243 Rockingham Meadows Dr., on a domestic disturbance. During the investigation the victim stated that Carter bit his cheek, strangled him, and scratched his arms as he tried to fend off the attack. The victim had visible injuries that were consistent with these claims.
Carter had left the scene of the incident prior to officer arrival and a warrant was obtained for her arrest. Carter subsequently turned herself in at the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 10/12/15 at 1:30 p.m., in Washington County General Sessions Court.
