On 07/01/15, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to Walgreen’s, 1430 S. Roan St. on a report of an armed robbery. Information provided by witnesses’ state that a black male armed with a handgun wearing all black jumped the pharmacy counter at closing time and demanded narcotic medication from the pharmacy staff. Suspect then fled the store on foot. The Johnson City Police Department is asking that anyone with information on the identification of the black male pictured below is asked to contact either the Criminal investigation Division at 423-434-6166 or Crime Stoppers at 423-434-6158. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can submit a text to 423JCPD and your tip to 847411 (TIP411) or by submitting via the internet atwww.citizenobserver.com.
