On 6/24/2015, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Glen E. Dalton (305 W Poplar St, 18 years old) and charged him with one count of Burglary and one count of Theft of Property (over $500.00). The arrest is the result of an investigation into a burglary that occurred in the historic tree street neighborhood on 6/2/2015. Through the course of an investigation, Dalton was developed as a suspect due to his involvement in other burglaries in the immediate area. Property reported stolen from the burglary was subsequently recovered from an acquaintance of Dalton. He was served with a warrant on 6/24/2015 at the Washington County Detention Center where he was already incarcerated. He is being held in lieu of a $15,000.00 bond on these charges. He is scheduled for arraignment, on these charges, in Washington County General Sessions Court on 6/25/2015 at 1:30 PM.
