On 5/29/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brent Roark (1957 Dave Buck. Rd., Johnson City, 22 years old) and charged him with aggravated assault and felon in possession of a firearm.
On 4/10/15, at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers responded to the Johnson City Medical Center where a victim was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound. During the investigation, it was determined that the incident occurred at 510 N. State of Franklin Rd., Waffle House. The victim and 2 witnesses were interviewed and Roark was named as a suspect.
On 5/29/15, Roark was transferred from the Unicoi County Jail, where he was being held on unrelated charges, to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $60,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 6/1/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
